*Mock Interviews
This section gives participants the opportunity to practise their interview skills by carrying out 'mock interviews'. There are two options for doing this:
1) Interview skills role-play using members of staff Staff members, who wish to improve their interview skills, volunteer to be the candidates and are interviewed by the attendees in panels of 4. The trainer and/or an observer give feedback to the interviewers during the process.
2) Interview skills role play using professional actors Professionally trained actors, who specialise in this area of work, play the candidates and are interviewed by the attendees in panels of 4. The actors work with the participants to improve their questioning techniques by coaching and giving feedback.
